I had the pleasure of meeting Lady Vesta Williams many years ago at a Hancock house party of a mutual friend. She was so personable, so classy, and so respectful. I remember her beautiful way.

The Conshockton Ohio native blessed the world with her sweet vocals, earning her seven Top 20 R&B hits from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. She was most well known for her songs: “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”, “Sweet Sweet Love”, “Congratulations” and “Special.”

She will be forever missed…
