Martin Luther King, Jr. — what an amazing man who walked this earth, if only for a short time. Seeing this monument up close and personal sent chills up my arms, not just because of all he risked — his life and the lives of his family — but because he loved a nation of people. Reverend King loved us and because of that love he made sacrifices that left his life in danger so that we could one day see a life of equality.

So many of our soldiers during that time were murdered and dehumanized as they attempted to spread a message of how we deserved to be treated fairly.

Where is the next generation of soldiers who are willing to fight for what is right and just??
