One year ago today, the world lost one of its greatest musicians of all time, Teena Marie…
I am fortunate that Teena and I also got to work together musically. The song we worked on together was called “The Pressure” and it appeared on her last album, “Congo Square.”
One of my fondest memories of Teena Marie, was when she and I hosted 92.3′s “The Circle.” What I remember most about sitting there in the studio with her was
That day I will always carry with me when I think of Teena not only because it was a reminder of what a great musical genius she was, but because we had a lot of fun reminiscing about the music that shaped us as people and artists.
