In June of 2011, I became the first African-American female president of the LA Chapter of the Grammy organization.
I will hold this post for two years and my main goals are to increase membership in the organization and to educate members and non-members about all the great work the organization does.
The annual Grammy Awards show is amazing and what the Grammy Organization is most well known for, however, the organization works year round to raise awareness and funds for the various needs of musicians and does quite a bit to give back to the community.
